Alexis, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcot and Olivier Giroud were among those working hard at London Colney ahead of Sunday’s north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur at Emirates Stadium.

Preview: Arsenal v Tottenham

If the result of the north London derby dictates your mood, the tone for this Sunday will be set pretty early. Local pride and joy will be at stake from noon, a kick-off time that we’ve shared with Tottenham just once before in the Premier League. That game was one of north London’s most ludicrous spectacles, a 5-4 win at White Hart Lane in 2004 which ebbed and flowed and defied footballing logic. A goal every 10 minutes is all well and good but, frankly, Arsenal fans would take any sort of win this Sunday, and they’d put up with anything except a defeat.

Barcelona MSN Score Arsenal to Book Quarter Final Uefa Champions League

Arsenal vs Barcelona Arsenal's Champions League hopes were extinguished as goals from Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi sent the Gunners to a 3-1 defeat at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night. It was a bit too little, too late for the Gunners who mostly played well in the round of 16 second leg tie, but were outdone by Barca's potent attacking trio to lose 5-1 on aggregate. The second half saw Sanchez and Iwobi linking up as the teenager rifled a low shot into the side of the net and the Arsenal pressure paid off six minutes after the restart. Sanchez was again involved as he cut the ball back for Elneny, who hit the ball first time and fired it past the leaping Ter Stegen into the top corner.

Thierry Henry Previews Arsenal against Leicester and Manchester City against Tottenham

Football Does Leicester City's style suit their trip to Arsenal? Will Tottenham be able to stop Sergio Aguero at the Etihad? A Super Sunday triple-header kicks off with the visit of league leaders Leicester to the Emirates, with Tottenham travelling to Manchester City after Liverpool head to Aston Villa. The weekend could prove pivotal as the title race enters the home stretch and ahead of the action, Sky Sports' Thierry Henry gives his thoughts on where the tussles between the four title rivals could be won and lost... This is no disrespect to Leicester because they deserve to be where they are, but a friend of mine recently asked me what I thought the score will be at the Emirates and I had to think about it. That already says a lot. Last year, you don't think about the result because Arsenal should win. But now it is the total opposite. Everything about the game suits the visitors - the way they play, their approach to the game, their counter-attacking style.

Wenger on Victory, Alexis and Elneny

Arsenal Fc Arsène Wenger spoke to the media after his side beat Burnley in the FA Cup fourth round. Here's a full transcript of what he said: on the game… We needed to work. At the start it looked like it would be easy because we had a lot of the ball and good opportunities around the box. When it came back to 1-1, it became a different game. I think we were a bit shocked and they gained belief. I saw them against Derby and I could see that this is a very efficient, strong team with no weakness. Everything they do is based on efficiency and they’ve shown that today. In the second half, I don’t think they created a lot. They had one or two opportunities on the counter-attack but we managed to win the game and we looked quite in control at the end. We needed to keep our focus, our urgency until the last minute.

"This is a big result for the manager. Klopp won't be fooled by the euphoria at the end of the Norwich game or tonight, they were poor tonight and got out of jail at Carrow Road.
